At the centre of Event Horizon, a deep black void draws everything inward with a gravity that feels physical. Around it, rings of compressed electric blue and bright gold curve and bend at the boundary, colour most intense where the pull is greatest, fading into dark space as the field expands outward. Fine gold particle dust traces the orbital paths, catching light mid-motion and giving the whole composition a sense of slow, continuous movement.
The outer field deepens through violet and dark teal gaseous matter spiralling through the distance. The tension between absolute darkness at the core and the luminosity surrounding it gives the piece its weight. Neither the light nor the void dominates entirely, and that balance is what holds the eye.
Event Horizon occupies a room rather than sitting in it.
