Not every mark was placed. Some were thrown.

Ink flicked, dropped, and splashed across a warm ivory field in a single deliberate burst of energy. The marks range from large bold splashes with visible spread patterns to fine pinpoint droplets that appear to still be settling. Density is highest toward the centre-left, growing sparser as it approaches the edges, as if the energy that released the ink was already fading by the time it reached the corners.

What makes Scattered Fall work is the space between. The ivory field is as considered as the marks themselves, giving each splash room to exist on its own terms rather than competing for attention. This is controlled chaos: a composition that reads spontaneous on first glance and reveals its structure the longer you stay with it.

It photographs well and holds its visual weight from across a room.
