Deep Harbour

Price range: ₦18,500 through ₦32,000

Thick palette knife strokes in deep navy and off-white bring raw physical presence to a living room, home office, or statement wall that needs quiet authority.

Deep Harbour rewards the viewer who steps closer.

Built entirely with a palette knife, the surface carries the full weight of the process. Dense, overlapping strokes of deep navy blue dominate the composition, shifting between near-black in the shadowed grooves and a richer cobalt where the raised ridges catch the light. Beneath those layers, flecks of raw umber and charcoal sit partially buried, visible only where the top paint thins at the edge of a stroke.

In the upper third, off-white and pale grey move across the canvas in broad horizontal marks, a suggestion of a horizon rather than a statement of one. The contrast between the heavy dark field below and the cooler light above creates a sense of depth that shifts with the viewer's position and the quality of light in the room.

The texture here is the work itself. Each ridge casts its own shadow; each groove holds its own darkness.
