Corrugated Iron, Northern Light

Price range: ₦22,000 through ₦38,000

Bold industrial geometry softened by warm rust tones in amber and copper. Works well in a living room, dining space, or home office where the wall needs presence and intention.

Corrugated Iron, Northern Light begins where most art avoids: the industrial surface. Overlapping panels of zinc sheeting fill the entire canvas, each caught at a different angle to a harsh northern afternoon sun. Some panels bleach into near-white. Others drop into charcoal and slate. The corrugated ridges run across the picture plane in a rhythm that is almost musical, dissolving at the edges into pure line and tone.

Rust holds the composition together. Amber, copper, and burnt orange bloom across the cold geometry of the zinc in organic forms, spreading as though the material is asserting something the manufacture never intended. The tension between those warm blooms and the hard industrial grid is where the piece finds its life.

The treatment is expressive and painterly, informed by the material rather than documenting it. Cinematic lighting, deep contrast, and a surface that reads differently at every scale.
