The peacock's full tail fan becomes a canvas for something richer than nature intended. Each feather is rewoven in a distinct Kente pattern: strict geometric bands of gold, burnt orange, deep crimson, and emerald green, every strip carrying its own rhythm and weight.

The bird's body and neck are traced in Fulani embroidery-inspired linework, gold thread on deep teal, intricate as something made by hand over many hours. At the tip of each feather, where the eye-spot would normally appear, sits a Kente medallion, circular, geometric, precise.

The background deepens from forest green to near-black at the edges. That gradual vignette pulls everything toward the centre and makes the gold patterns glow as though lit from within. A piece this layered rewards the rooms that give it space.
